Hotel in Yucatán, Mexico, a truly inspiring fusion of design and nature.
Owners Nicolas Malleville and Francesca Bonato are one creative couple:
not only they established a chain of breathakingly beautiful boutique hotels,
but also started a stylish accessories' line. The Hacienda Montaecristo
handbags and jewelry are produced in collaboration with local artisans.

The classic Hardoy folding chair, nicknamed 'Butterfly' is so light it
looks as if it's about to take off. Then there are all these other elegant
and incredibly cool chair designs combining steel and leather, like Marcel
Breuer's B3 (or Wassily) or Mies Van der Rohe's MR10. All of these

It takes two
Two identical chairs side by side create a soothing symmetry as well as,
especially in the case of beautifully upholstered archmairs, a sense of luxury
and comfort. I like the idea of two modern chairs as the focal point of the
room (image Nr. 4).
