Longing for green

I have nothing against snow and leafless trees for two or three weeks. A month.
O.K., two... But the prospect of not seeing a patch of green in five (!!!) months is
daunting. There is an effective solution to this: spending the winter abroad.
This is something I am definitely going to do sooner or later. For now, I get my dose of
green at home. Potted plants are indespensible this time of the year; not only do they clean
the air in our homes but also lift our spirits. Especially if it's a whole army of potted
plants on the window sill as in the room below. And I would totally love a tree at
home like the one in the last image; don't know what kind of plant it is,
 but it looks stunning.

Neturiu nieko prieš sniegą ir nuogus medžius porą savaičių. Tris.

  1. I'm totally with you. I grew up in a house in the woods with floor to ceiling windows showing the green outside. Since then I have to surround myself with plants and go out to the countryside as often as possible! I love my Christmas tree and will be sad when it's gone:)

  2. Aah, lucky you! Growing up in the woods is something I'd wish for every child.
